In view of the terrorist attacks inflicted upon the British people in the name of Islam, have we every right to show fear, hated and prejudice against the Islamic religion?

That’s not so. Several countries have declared themselves Islamic states or Islamic republics. Whilst that, in the main, doesn’t preclude non-Muslims from residing there, they are Islamic countries.

Try telling Recep Erdogan that Turkey isn't an Islamic country, or the same to Hassan Rohani about Iran & you'll probably find yourself in jail (or worse) before the day is out.
Not to mention Saudi Arabia....
