I've no idea why I looked at my badges while in sparkly's thread but now I can't get back in on my laptop. I've done a restart and cleared last 24 hours of browsing history but it's the same. A red list of topics from Oct 13. I thought this was sorted more to the point what do I do now?

OK if anyone else is interested a restart did not work but a full shutdown did. Not right that it happened though.
Is this the screen where you have a list of topics in red, on the left hand side of the page followed by some really old questions?
I dare not click on 'view my profile' any more unless I log out.
I'm not sure I'm following this. I've looked at my profile without having to log back in. Is there some rogue code that's causing this to happen to others?

I often look at my profile with no problems. It's the badge tab that is rogue
I think it may depend on length of membership and how often you post, ie a lot of info to open.
This happened to me on both my Android mobile and tablet at the same time whilst abroad yesterday. I assumed it was something to do with the devices defaulting to Google.com instead of .co.uk I wasn't looking at badges or anything in particular. It has happened before as well. Now I`m back on google.co.uk they are fine.
Ah, I have to sit for 6/7 minutes to get in profile at all.
I tried to view your profile, ML, but gave up after about 10 minutes as nothing was happening.

This is shockingly bad programming!
