This is a new one on me which I have passed on to British Gas.

Action required

British Gas wants to inform you that you are eligible for an over-payment refund of £141.98 GBP.

Our records indicate that you have paid more than you should have for your British Gas Services from 2017 to 2019 and because of this, we have to refund you the total amount which you have overpaid.

I always go straight to my log in - be it British Gas, BT, Amazon or my bank - if i get any such emails as any messages they send me will be there. I get similar texts, too, and again i go to my on line accounts.
