Lewis Hamilton - 6 Time World Champ
Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton on winning the F1 World title for the sixth time. After winning his 3rd title in a row, he is now just one away from emulating the great Michael Schumacher's record of 7 titles. Schumacher was 35 when winning his last title so it would be quite apt should Lewis equal the record next year when he too will be 35.

Spot the difference in the sports pages of my daily rag today:
Six pages (possibly more, I couldn't be bothered to count) devoted to the England Rugby Union team. That is, losers of a competition that lasted just over a month, seven matches of 80 minutes each, all played in roughly the same vicinity. Then:
A page and a bit devoted to Lewis Hamilton. That is, six times winner of a competition that lasts eight months and involves schlepping round the world for twenty-two highly competitive weekends, each involving four hours of official practice, one hour qualifying and a two hour race.
Funny old world.
