Hi all, does anyone have any suggestions of evergreen plants that are good for insects, for a small garden? My friend is about to plant things amongst bark in his landscaped garden, so need to be striking, not take up loads of space and all-year evergreens?

if you are choosing holly and want berries you want a self fertile one. Golden King (yes really) or JC van Tol. Partridge berry is a low growing plant that produces berries https://www.jparkers.co.uk/3-gaultheria-procumbens-partridge-berry-1001087c
I have three of these in my garden. Gorgeous shrubs and wonderful perfume.
