Well not a problem exactly. I have a Moto E4 phone and it's working fine....except. I'll press the power button to see if I've missed any calls/texts etc and if there is nothing there I'll close it down again. This is when after a few seconds it 'sounds' and there will now be something there. It's as if I'm powering the messages through, if you know what I mean. Any ideas?

I have the same situation on my Moto smart phone. I have put it down to the fact that we are with EE and the coverage in the area I live is rubbish. Having said that the signal appears only to be poor actually when I am in our bungalow. Again, grasping for answers, I wondered if it could be in anyway caused by the fact that we have solar panels on the roof. I have worked on the basis that as long as I get, whatever is being sent, hen I have to accept it.

Thanks davidk65, mine happens wherever I am, indoors or out and I don't have solar panels. Agreed about EE's coverage!
Anyway I've gotten used to switching it on every now and again just to 'power' any messages through.
