My wife and I had a photo taken of us with The Lettermen when we were in the USA.

My sister has one with the Duke of Cambridge, not intentional, she was doing one with a friend as he was going past, he had turned in response to something they said. It's a lovely picture

None, nor am I interested in having any. I went to Tenerife in the 70s and Kenneth Williams was in the same hotel. He was continually hounded by people when all he wanted was a relaxing holiday. We seem to have a culture where everything is celebrity focused.

Graham Norton...though I nearly didn't as it took me a while to sort my mobile phone camera out and he was remarkably patient

I got a few photos of myself with celebs many years ago, in my days of chasing pop stars around the country: amongst a long list are: Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzie, Freddie Garrity om Freddie and the Dreamers: Joe Walsh from The Eagles: Mark Bolan from T-Rex: the entire Bay City Rollers group, and pride of place goes to the one of my bestie and me with Glam Rock band Sweet. Recently, I was in a choir that sang for Prince Charles when he visited a local building. The entire choir (all 51 members) are in a selfie with him. Happy Days

I don't do 'selfies' because I loathe having my picture taken, so the idea of having it taken at all is to be avoided if at all possible.

I did have a 'selfie' with a Japanese pop star called Minaku Honda back in the 80's, when I interviewed her for a magazine. She had herself photographed with every journalist she met, so it would have been rude to refuse. She also gave each journalist a little set of art pens with her name on, part of her merchandise in Japan.

Minaku was charming, spoke not a word of English, but told me, through an interpreter, that her great joy being in London was being able to walk down the street unrecognised, unless any Japanese teenagers saw her! She was a huge star in Japan, and her first eleven singles were Number One's, and her twelfth was a Two.

I checked on her a few weeks ago for a project I am involved with concerning interviews I have completed, and I was sad to see she died of leukemia in 2005, she was only thirty-eight.
