The debate on Jeremy Vine is
Should the voting age be lowered to 16 as these young people are the future of the planet
They can join the army
They can get married

But are they well equipped to know exactly what there voting for?

Spath - I have never ever said my kids are perfect, they aren't! But they are law abiding and hard working.
Good grief no wonder there are so many gay men these days.
They join the army but are not put on the front line, because they're still kids.

They can get married but only with their parents' permission, because they're still kids.

They can't be allowed to vote and use their naive lack of experience because their vote can affect how the country is run, because they are still kids.

Jeremy Vine ought to have more sense than to encourage this nonsense of kids voting.
