I bought it on Ebay, a bit of a palaver with password etc. but its downloaded and working fine and it appears legit, Ive used it for a week with no problems. Loads of listings selling it on Ebay. I just haven't found a catch, surely their must be a catch?

I'm with hc with Libre Office & Libre Office Draw, as well, all free & without problems.
More and more large companies are using Libre instead of Office these days.
Don't find it so convenient though. Needs more fiddling when searching for copy/paste or pasting as. Would use MS (preferably not 365) by preference.

I have just been looking at the feed back of the people selling these packages and they all have excellent feedback and been trading a fair while. Ebay are very particular when it comes to forgery and fakes etc, if they are not genuine, how are they still getting away with it and why is nobody complaining?
You'd have set me thinking as to what my very fist computer was,it was before XP ( a dreadful platform to work with, as bad as W10,before 2000, what was it ? scratches head here
Ratter, you are being naive. There are millions of forgeries and fakes for sale on eBay, everything from batteries to handbags to tech to clothing to toothpaste.

You cannot really believe that it is a genuine key.
Bobbi, Window 3? Windows 95?
Was it Windows 95? Anyway, I use W7 and MS Office 2000 Professional. I've had it for years but it doesn't work with W10. I might have to switch to Libre. I've used that and it's ok, but Ms Office it aint!
I've still got my instruction video that came with the new PC I bought from Time Computers in 1999.

Of course there are many fakes on Ebay, I have used Ebay from the day it started pretty much. I know that as soon as Ebay get a sniff of a fake it is taken down, I'm just wondering how these sites and so many people doing the same thing are all surviving with positive feedbacks etc.
Are all the feedback comments genuine in the first place?

The Corbyloon, maybe they aren't all genuine but where are all the negative feed backs, you cant delete or remove them!

Im not defending anything here, I just don't understand how they are still surviving if it was all fake.
MS may not notice for months. Then a block may occur.

OG, you could well be right, but meanwhile.....
open office is free, as for email outlook etc, plenty of other free email
services.
Might have been '95 , thanks
Microsoft Office 365 is, by definition, a subscription service. So if you've not got to pay a subscription then it seems that what you've got can't be Office 365. It might be Office 2019 (or earlier), either genuine or fake, but I can't see how it can actually be Office 365.

The only exception might be if what you've got is actually a trial version in some way. This thread might be relevant:
https://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Buyer-Central/Fake-Microsoft-Office-365/td-p/6040210

However why anyone would want to use a possibly dodgy version of Microsoft Office, when there are freebies that are just as good (or even better) freely available, is beyond me!
