Can anyone explain how I can get a picture on here in order to get an ID

PostImages is a decent service but I still prefer Upl.co. (It went down for maintenance for a while recently but it's now back online):

In either case, copy the 'Direct' link and paste it on AB.

That's a good point, Bobbisox. Ferlew has already got an avatar but, if the aim is to change it, she'll need to log into her Gravatar account.

. . . on second thoughts though, I suspect that Ferlew probably wants to get something, such as a plant, a bird or antique 'IDed' (= 'identified' by fellow ABers.
