My mentality is in a downward spiral. Back on the happy pills.

I decided to cheer myself up and did a little baking. The cake was great. The blondies...well I didn’t expect to have to put out a fire! The baking parchment caught fire. Gave me a scare.

Then had to call 111 as my sugars bottomed out at Lo. I was still with it and able to do all my bits but I felt so unwell. But I’ve been checked and I’m ok.

I think I should just do something normal like read a book or watch tv or something safe.

I did I’m glad though Mamya. Just sad I didn’t get to try my jammy dodger blondies.
Ah well, any burnt crumbs left for the birds?
I wonder what Jammy Dodger brunettes would taste like?

Unfortunately not Mamya..it was all soggy from the water and still raw in the middle. I can’t get to grips with the oven and baking.

Baking days are like that sometimes, I am still getting to grips with my new cooker and when in london my mums new one too so fat I have made enough ruined cookies to retile my bathroom and a few tins of half cooked sludge. (transfer sludge to mugs microwave 45 seconds mug cakes!!)

Oh bless you rowan. I’ve had 2 successful cakes since moving in nearly a year and a half ago. But not to worry.
I find a bit of music can always change me mood... I know it's not as simple as that in all cases though!

The OP reminded me of this song

I’m sure they will. I find September a hard month.

Music does often help me. I’ll definitely give that ago Jordy. Don’t have sherry but I do have copious bags of tea and Gin - any ripple will do.

At work today so I’m out the house xx
Hope things improve for you Queenie.
