If none of the cases "have a cat's chance in Hell of succeeding." why is the Court of Session hearing the full case to-day rather than dismissing it last week?
Are there some ABers who believes the Queen has any political influence?
Both sides have the right to present their case in full. I'd tend to agree with Jackdaw at least that the cases are likely to be dismissed, and in any case the question is also likely to be moot by tomorrow. But as a legal matter, although the Monarch's decisions can never be challenged, the advice given to the monarch can be challenged.
The question as to whether advice to withhold assent could be challenged is not cut and dry.

There are differing opinions on the matter including the view that the will of Parliament trumps the will of Government and Royal Assent must be given.

Because the court was not in full session. The judge merely refused an injunction prior to the full hearing, when I expect the case to be roundly kicked into touch.
It's clear that Brexit is stretching the bounds of what is, and is not, and might be, constitutional to breaking point. But the idea that a legal challenge would not even be heard should the PM advise the Queen to refuse Royal Assent to a Bill passed by both Houses is clearly insane.
The Court of Session could have ruled on the case last week and decided the case had no merit. Instead, it is hearing the full case to-day.

Theresa May refuses to say whether she’ll rebel or not.
I guess she won’t, but wouldn’t it be a hoot if she did ..
