I regularly receive the pop-up below asking me to enter the password for my Apple ID. This is on my iPad. The email address is correct. Should I enter my password? If not, how can I stop this pop-up from appearing?

Thanks

“sign in to the iTunes Store

Enter the password for your Apple ID [email protected]

(Box for password)

Cancel. OK”

No way, get rid of it by clearing the cache in your settings, top right 3 horizontal lines the history , it's spam
urm... It might not be spam. It might just be the Ipad wanting RSDonovan to sign into his apple ID.
Happens all the time on my phone.
Unless the OP can provide a screen shot of the pop up, it’s hard to tell.
Spath it isn't , I'm on an Apple iPad and get it periodically, it's nothing to do with your Apple ID
If unsure, don't put in information.
Plus it would not appear as a pop up , it would come as an email if it was from Apple telling him/ her that they needed to change the password
Unless you're actually paying for something (For which you do have to enter your password every time), don't put in your password. You shouldn't have to enter anything just to get into iTunes.
The ipad does occasionally ask you to do this.

You can cancel it - then next time you do want to download from the App Store or Itunes, it will ask you for your password.
