Is there anything on the market to stop mattresses shifting sideways off the bed?

Something that clamps to the side of the bed, towards either end, which holds the mattress shifting.

I have NEVER heard of a mattress shifting sideways off the bed !

Well, tonight I shall tell my shifting mattress that it’s all in its mind, as Eddie says it doesn’t happen...
Is this your electric bed so it doesn't slot it like a normal bed?
You could stop wriggling in your sleep.
Maybe use bands like they use to tie loads onto lorries to go around the bedframe and mattress.
Or screw wooden boards pn each side to stop the movement.

Put something like this under ya mattress, and bottom.

How would you get it to stay on your bottom ?
Staples?
Strangely my Mattress stays put but the bedside rug shifts.
If your mattress has handles on the sides, just tie a loop, connecting the handles to the frame, long cable ties should do it.

Yes ummm my electric bed - exacerbated by the absent leg, so getting out of bed is awkward and helps push the mattress off.
Could you fit a bed rail to the other side to keep the mattress in place when you get up? Or put bed against a wall? X

Thanks pixie, I’ll look into that one - my current thinking is towards DIY - a couple of flat pieces of wood bolted to the side of the slats. I’ll report back!
