can anyone tell me how I can print off an email but exclude the pictures that are on the page - I don't need them and they are wasting loads of ink! Many thanks

Copy and then delete pictures first ?
If it's just the text you want, can't you highlight it, cut & paste it somewhere else - perhaps on notepad, adjust the the text (where the pictures were) & print it.
Reply to the email, substituting the 'To' address for your own. The pictures will have been removed.
At least that's how it works with Thunderbird.

Highlight and paste did the trick - it would have been handy if I had been able to do as you said 4 candles as it's Thunderbird I use also - does what you suggested work with attachments which is what mine was and when I sent email to myself the pictures were not removed-many thanks
@tollview
Yes, if I reply to an email, any attachment is dropped, and the body of the email contains no graphics.
Maybe it's some obscure setting in Thunderbird which is different in yours compared to mine?
