As above, somehow I’ve managed to go from chrome to yahoo in the blink of an eye without knowing what I’ve clicked on and I haven’t got a clue how to get rid of it. Can any of you talented people tell me an easy way to get back to google. As usual thanks for any help you can give me.

If you have a Chrome Icon just click on it.
Or go to settings and scroll down to search engines.
If neither of the above work and Chrome is your default browser try restarting.
Chrome is a browser. Yahoo is a company with website and various services. Unsure that I understand the issue as well as some here.
Yahoo search engine used to start up when I clicked on Chrome. I got rid of it through settings.

Thanks all for your answers, if it was my usual pc I’d probably would have figured it out but this is on my laptop with Windows 10 and it’s the biggest heap of rubbish I’ve ever spent money on. ummm your answer at 16.34 sounds like what’s happening to me so I’ll keep plodding along and I’ll hopefully hit the wrong key again and things may return to normal one day
If you still need help, please can you be more specific about the nature of your problem?

Chrome is a web browser and not a search engine, whereas Yahoo is (among other things) a search engine and not a browser. So you can't 'go from one to the other'.

Please tell us which browser you're using. (i.e. assume it's Chrome but it would help to be sure). Then explain exactly what it is that's changed for you. (i.e. has your browser's home page changed or has the default search engine it uses changed?)
