Getting the above on Sunday! 1.4Auto with all sorts to distract you! Any advice from Mokka owners? Relatively new-only 6k! Anything I should be 'looking-out' for? Full MOT & Road tax! Looks like new!
What do they drive like & what 'oddities' are there?
Any advice appreciated.
Cheers

Don't ever take it a Vauxhall dealer for servicing. Use your own reliable garage.
I'm on my second one now(1.4 auto) they're really easy to drive and get in and out of with my dodgy hip. We had a mild panic with the first one when we filled up with fuel and noticed a puddle under the car, but it was just water from the air con. I think you'll enjoy drinking it
Wow where did that come from should read Driving it :-)

// What do they drive like //

Are you seriously say you've not had a test drive?
Is it not a better idea to ask these questions before buying? A 1.4 auto might struggle a bit, but maybe wrong.
Motoring Which? verdict....Very reliable....but " a lacklustre driving experience, poor braking distance, hard to park (poor visibility issues) and below average fuel economy"
You did ask!

I got the guy from the garage to take it for the customary 'test-drive' while I just sat in the passenger seat, listening, watching and listening again & again! I was able to detect anything 'odd', whether movement, sound or smell! I have to drive it to my home, when it will be tested by me,for ANY point that could have been missed!! After a week I usually find something, even a 'stuck' cigarette lighter and I don't smoke;it goes back! I sometimes get raised eyebrows but I simply ask them if there was anything wrong with the money I just gave them! I shall remember the advice from Bakers Dozen,I do usually do that.Margo Tester-do you have a problem?
Cheers
No - why?
c'mon balders, you had a test drive and still bought a Skoda ;-)

150 mph+, 7 speed auto, why wouldn't I?
Grandpappy you are committed now but I would have driven it myself first, checked fluid levels etc. Motoring organisations would have given you an opinion for a fee.
Yeah, they're nice cars. Just taking the p.

I know ;o)

I've bought from this dealer before,in fact the same man! A 1.8 turbo auto, was like *** off a shovel once you hit the sport button(changed up just short of 70-never found out when it next changed?).However, I think the guy built his reputation on trust, that's why I'm going back to him!
But, I don't need to frighten myself any more,so as long as this is faster and more comfortable than walking,it'll do for me!
Thanks guy's for all the comments and 'sabre rattling' I enjoyed all.
Cheers
Morning Grandpappy didnt realise you were buying from a trader you trust so my comment was probably inappropriate. Hope you enjoy your new car.

Thanks TonyV!
Looking forwards to being the 'Margaret Beckett with caravan' of our highways, listening to the irate drivers behind saying,(in similar words),
" I wonder why that person doesn't go a little faster"?- put Granny down, please.
