Apart from the massive signs above each isle of the supermarket shelves telling were to find products. Should there be sat nav fixed to the shopping trolleys to further help you locate the goods you require.

Teacake, I never have a problem navigating a supermarket, I may go up and down the same aisle till I find what I was looking for but the thought of having a sat nav on my trolley makes me giggle
Not just any old sat navs, these are M & S sat navs :-)
No one could keep up with updating the data as stuff is moved about.
If the device could also show the route to take, the store could divert you past items it is trying to promote rather than taking the direct route.

I just find it really sad when folk claim to have a problem finding what they want in a supermarket stuffed to the roof with food. At the same time in some parts of the world, such as parts of Ethiopia, they walk for miles armed with a stick as a tool, to dig up one sweet lump of root ( if their lucky)

OMG Tashi you not going to have another private reg on your trolley. :)
Now that is a thought :-)
I think most of the signs are clear enough.
She has one on her trolley if the form of Balders pushing it for her.
I guess you have not noticed that the supermarkets deliberately completely shuffle the entire shop up every so often to force you to go everywhere - it's a "marketing strategy".
If food shopping is such a chore, get it delivered ?
Agree Anne, order on-line and have it delivered when convenient for you. No faffing about up and down aisles searching for something. Let the staff take the strain.

Really find it hard to understand how shopping in a supermarket can be classed as faffing about with all the signs and staff to tell you were everything is, ( if you can't see it)
It is a faff, I hate it, and that's why I get mine delivered.

Or move to that part of Ethiopia you were talking about.
Good grief..it is difficult enough trying to avoid being bashed by idiots concentrating on their phones rather than what they are supposed to be doing - please don't add another machine to attract their attention away from avoiding ramming others with their trolleys.... Unless we could ban idiots on phones from supermarkets like we can ban fool drivers who are concentrating on things other than their driving... that would be good!

Just cutting some squares of newspaper up, and threading string through for the toilet. Bit of a faff, but couldn't find any in the supermarket.
Go see an optician then.
and hoards of children running around
I try to mow down as many as I can each time, they have even started coming in on scooters
Anything other than walking or disability aides should be banned in shops. Children on scooters or skates are a menace.
