Where did our summer go? A pretty mixed bag today with some hot handicaps to ponder over. Had a little punt on the open mid week and find that Rose, Fleetwood, Kuchar, Koepka, and Schauffele, the 5 that I did are all still in the frame. Anyway today will sort itself out and a few horses in the frame would brighten it up. Good luck if you indulge.

Chef De Troupe @11/2 2.10 Market Rasen
Withhold @6/1 2.25 Newbury
Donjuan Triumphant @11/2 3.00 Newbury
Gortroe Joe @13/2 3.20 Market Rasen

£1.00 e/w Acca. 30p Doubles and Trebles.

Have done the ITV7 with those selections and of course just a little e/w 7 timer, 6 timers and 5 timers just in case. First Nation 1.50NB, Kesia 2.40NM, and Bettys Hope 3.40NB. That last one is on offer @28/1 so I have done an e/w single as well.

Mornin' Togo and good luck, as per. Sorted mine out early today 'cos i'll be laying carpets this afternoon - in between races, of course :-)

2.10 M/R; Longhouse Sale @ 4/1
2.25 N'b; The Grand Visir @ 6/1
3.00 N'b; Snazzy Jazzy @ 9/2
3.20 M/R; Royal Village @ 10/1

The usual win singles, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £24, 4 winners = £2,159. Done all 4 in the ITV 7 along with Fox Chairman, Sparkle Roll and Ventura Rebel. A few favs in there so the accumulative odds aren't as mouth watering as is the norm. £1 e.w. acca, all 7 placed = £40, all 7 win = £18.41.

Re the golf; Really believed i was on a good bet with Koepka and McIlroy top 5 finish. Not to be, unfortuneately, but my other 3 selections are all in the mix, particularly Justin Rose. Gonna see how today pans out then have another punt (or two) to cover the final round tomorrow.
funny old game golf, i was convinced mcilroy was going to win it :-(

Blew it first hole ael. Can't imagine what he was playing at. You can't win it on the first tee...……..but you can lose it. Which he promptly did. We cannot call his immaturity just youthful inexperience any more can we.
the seven on the eighteenth didn't help either
wonder what odds we could have got on mcilroy scoring fifteen on two holes?

True ael, but he was wrestling demons all day after that start. The infuriating thing is he played wonderful stuff yesterday and missed the cut by 1 shot. Wonder if he will get the yips on every first tee from now on in.

Close but no cigar. Very nice 28/1 winner to finish after I thought it was going to be beaten, and a superb run by Withhold earlier. Brave as a lion to make all. The field seemed to have a go at him one by one and he saw them all off.

Didn't realise that you had a post up on the golf Ken. I looked in other sports on Thursday early doors but never opened the main sports category. Just saw a post run through latest Doh.
Nice pick with the outsider, Togo. Complete blank for me today. Still, onward and upward. Just done a L15 and e.w. acca on tonight's racing (no win singles); Buckland Boy, Presidential, Born Leader and Show Palace. Just under 1K if they oblige. If they don't, i'll have to settle for winning the lottery again ;-))

Good luck with it Ken. Forgot earlier, I also did Westwood @125/1.(just a 50p/E/W)
