Just had a visit from my 11 year old grandson. Schools have been off for 2 weeks here in Dundee and he informed me that he is bored already. Ah well, only another 5 weeks to go!

They do ummmm, but even he's getting a bit bored playing football for 8 hours per day. Going to see if there's anything he fancies on that site Chris, thanks.
I can't really remember what we done at that age.
Only the boring are bored! Get him giving you a hand round the house/garden, take him to the library, go for a walk and above all, engage him.
I was NEVER bored in my 6 week holidays. Always playing out or drawing, or reading.
I don’t remember being bored during the summer hols either. My sister and I would play dressing up games, try to play tennis, cycle, read, write stories.
I had an adventure playground near me I would be down there every day in school holidays, though some of the activities would never be allowed today. Rope swings etc.
