If an external Powerbank battery also works on a laptop ? I was thinking of this one

POSUGEAR Powerbank 10000mAh, New Dual Puertos Bateria Externa para Movil con indicador de Estado LED, Compatible con iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy, Huawei Y Otros Smartphones (***)

I want to be able to use it for my iPhone and Acer laptop.
Thanks.

Power banks are generally designed to power small devices that use relatively little power - laptops are more voracious. The one you are looking at lists such devices but it will not be laptop-suitable because it is designed to plug in via a USB port and a laptop is unlikely to be capable of running from there. To have spare laptop power capacity you would be much better to simply buy a spare compatible laptop battery and carry it charged with you.
Depends on the laptop. Some modern laptops can be powered via a USB port, but most require an external power supply (usually around 12 - 20 V). If yours came with a power brick, then a powerbank will not be suitable.
That is not going to be of any use for a laptop. You have to be looking at something designed for laptops something larger and more expensive

Thanks for your replies. I won't bother then, unless I treat myself to a new iPad. Just have to find a plug for the laptop when I am travelling.
Power banks are often meant to power tiny gadgets that consume minimal power – laptops, on the other hand, consume a lot. The one you're looking at lists similar devices, but it won't work with a laptop since it's meant to link into a USB port, and a laptop is unlikely to be able to operate from there. To have extra laptop power capacity, simply purchase a backup suitable laptop battery and keep it charged at all times.
