My cat has a brain haemorrhage and I forgot to ask the vet when I might expect to see an improvement, if there is going to be one. Anybody had any experience of this? He's been on the steroids for 48 hours. x

Yes, sorry my mistake, I meant vestibular, otherwise I'm assuming something that helps blood flow to his brain wouldn't be a great help to what you're referring to!

Ollie than you for you input.
For all who have taken an interest there's good news this morning. He has actually gone into the garden for the first time in 9 days and jumped up onto the wall at the bottom end. He was only out for 5 minutes and he's now back under the bed but what an improvement. He was listing heavily to the right and stumbled slightly a couple of times but hey he did it. Well done Bobbie.
So very pleased to see Bobbie is making some progress in his recovery, fingers crossed for it to continue xx

You must be very relieved, LB :))
Glad to hear Bobbie is fighting back.x
Ladybirder. Love is all you can offer Bobbie now. The steroids might help, and I really hope they do, but your love for him is what's keeping him going.

May your journey together be long and gentle.

LOL...I am glad that my prognostications were well off target........as were the vet's re brain hemorrhage.

Sqad what do you think it is now then?? I was still thinking he'd had a stroke??
Maybe he has been smoking the wrong sort of Catnip?

Question Author
Sqad or Bobbie?
If Catnip had a good effect on humans I would start snorting it now.
lady birder....I feel that with the sudden and surprise(at least to me) that we can rule out a stroke and am now fancying the link of wolf, re vestibulitis.
Does it matter ;-). she has improved.
Question Author
No it doesn't matter Sqad and I'll probably never know for sure. As long as he's happy, I'm happy.
and as long as he's happy and your'e happy, the I'm happy.....;-)
And I'm happy Bobbie seems to have had a good turn for the better. Pleased for you both LB.
Question Author
