//Labour’s nationalisation plans will clobber 300,000 former workers from the coal and steel industries.

The pension pots of mineworkers, staff at British Coal and British Steel include investments in the energy, water and PFI sectors targeted by Jeremy Corbyn

Both he and Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell have repeatedly warned shareholders will not be fully compensated.//

Labour voters can’t say they haven’t been warned.

Seems to me like a waste of propaganda efforts. Labour are over, no chance of any power. Non story. Who cares what their moot plans are.
Labour's own fault. If only they's put Miss Piggy (soz.- Abbot) in charge of financial planning everything would be just fine and dandy.
I've said it before but there's a part of me that almost wants Corbyn to win an election so that the fantasy that his policies will ever be anything other than disastrous can be dispelled for at least another generation.

He's not doing a bad job of that in opposition though, so it may be a price we don't have to pay.
Where Labour and finance are mentioned I shudder.
Surely after a nationalisation the pension responsibilities are with the government to protect anyway ? Pensions should be ring-fenced anyway.
I find it utterly immoral and disgusting of them to state shareholders (many of whom are individuals) will not be properly compensated.
"many of whom are individuals" and even worse their own voters.

Commie COB lost the plot ages ago although it is not beyond he realms of possibility that he gets into No10 if remainers persist.
He'll nationalise nowt while in the EU.
That is why I have no doubt his X was in the leave box.
But isn’t it predominantly the young who vote Labour? And they don’t care about old age as the state will make sure they have everything they will ever need.
