Reading an article in The Times yesterday about bikini v swimsuit.

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/bikini-or-one-piece-this-summers-best-swimwear-59mch8hqt?shareToken=56bc7428a5241bb7ca31cd2c2b496682

What’s your preference, and has it changed as you’ve got older?

I used to be firmly in the bikini camp as a one piece squashed the wrong bits down and overemphasised other parts. Now I’m more tankini, even though the writer in the article says that’s so wrong.

Don't think your next door neighbours will be on same beach as you so just be naked and enjoy the sunshine. My next door neighbour sunbathes naked in her back garden.
Who cares about tan marks? It's not like most people walk about in hot pants and boob tubes when in the UK.
You talk for yourself ummm !!!
Naked isn't an attractive look.... for anyone.
If I can be naked I'm naked, so always when we swim at home or friends houses or relevant beaches but other than that I have a stupidly expensive one piece I never wear because it's uncomfy and does nothing for me, a bikini I got in Primark for a tenner and my most used one piece which is a red Yandi Vintage Lifeguard and wasn't expensive from Walmart- so I'm not fussed either way just depends.
One piece in swimming pool. 2 piece on beach.
Bikini when I was younger, definitely a well fitting swimsuit now !
Ummm you should visit my village which has a permanent travellers site, it's the normal wear for the ladies.
^^^^ boob tube and hot pants lol.
Yeah...but they are few and far between. Probably covered in fake tan as well.
Yes ummm either fake tan or they have community sun tan bed, always as crisp as toast. Lol.

I find it strange that companies make swimsuits with one shoulder or cutout bits. You’re going to get a strange tan wearing something like that.
I can't expose my skin to the sun and so only use a Speedo one piece when using an indoor pool. Swimming is swimming. I do not sunbathe.
I've always preferred a one piece but then I've always gone for a very stylish number.
I think the choice should come down to what a lady feels comfortable wearing.
