When a woman has a menopause she is going through a biological process where her fertility dies a death. Men must sure go through a similar process, for they can't remain fertile forever. Any biological or endocrine process a man or woman goes through late in life would not be without its symptoms and manifestations but the symptoms women suffer are, I think it's fair to say, far more pronounced and severe that those suffered by men.

Of course men go through a menopause. It's a natural part of the cycle of life, and it's entirely feasible that what has been all- too-often dubbed "a midlife crisis" is purely a symptom or reaction to a temporary surge in hormones before the inevitable plunge.
