The AA are the first to shout that motorists are being ripped off for fuel prices, but they don't brag about how they keep trying to add extra cover on ones breakdown cover when its time to renew. I have ( roadside & relay) I do not require anything else, yet this is the second time they have added the so called( stay mobile at £5 per month) that's just useless), so yet again I have to spend another 15/20 mins on the phone to get it taken off, you can't email them, or wright to them, they will just keep you waiting on the phone for ever hoping you will give up.
What gives these people the right to keep adding extra cost to your cover, that you've not requested? I refuse to help pay for the millions of pounds they spend on TV adds.

Hi, this is the Official AA Representative. We're sorry to hear you've been left feeling unhappy with this and hope that our Customer Service team were able to advise why the Stay Mobile option was on the quote. This is usually only included if you have opted for this from the beginning or added it on as part of a mid term offer, in which case you'd need to call in to remove this at Renewal.
Hi Ummmm, if you are getting a quote online via our website, it gives you the option before you complete the quote to opt out of any marketing. If you haven't been in touch already with our Customer Service team to arrange this, please email your details along with a copy of this and your contact number, we'll surpress the number for you. The email address is [email protected]

The AA1, To the AA REP, the stay mobile was added to my cover last year, without my asking for it, so I rang at my cost to have it removed, guess what? it was again added this year, so again I had to ring you at my cost to further remove it. After sitting on the phone pressing membership numbers in, pressing date of birth in, pressing house numbers in, pressing post code numbers in, having to spend 10mins hearing music, and sale patter of what you would like to sell me, and then a 10min conversation to cancel all cover, all in all over 20mins of my time and money. Thanks!!
Hi Teacake44, we hope that you raised this to be investigated as to why and how it had been added on without your permission so it could be addressed for you. If you haven't and would like us to investigate what happened please email your details to [email protected] including a copy of your message and contact number, we'll be happy to help get to the bottom of it for you.

I've done what I've done for the last 7 years hop to the RAC, until they pull a fast one next year, then hop back to the AA, and that's what one as to do with car insurance, what a complete waste of time, I don't wish to spend my life weeding out scams. But thanks for your reply
