Not for rap it wasn't. Late 80's early 90's it was a pretty lit scene.
Surprisingly for my music taste they're quite a few songs on that list that I like... but probably didn't at the time.
I like the song in the OP :)
So do I, Love wars was good as well by Womack and Womack.
i think 1988 saw a big shift in music lol
