Every website I looked at before I bought one said there was a "rinse hold". I can't find it :(

Does this man help?
I see a spin and drain option from the Knob, and a rinse option.

Spin and drain at 6 o clock.

Rinse at 7.
Question Author
spathiphyllum, looked at that video yesterday, doesn't mention it. Doesn't mention much actually.

So if I want to put a wash on overnight, say to start in 6hrs, how do I stop it from finishing the complete cycle, instead leaving the clothes in water (so they don't crease excessively) & I resume it when I get up ? I've had this facility on all my washing machines, & had a job finding a new one that did, to find it doesn't :(
Have you looked in the manual to see what that says?
Question Author
Errr, yes … it says "Rinse hold … If you are not going to unload your clothes immediately after the programme completes, you can use rinse hold function to keep your laundry in the final rinsing water ..." blah blah " … Press Start/pause button after this process".
No mention of where it is :(
I don't understand the "hold" aspect of not only this thread, but in general for washing machines.

I can help you figure out how to, spin and drain. Or how to rinse.
This from the manual:
4.6.9 Spin speed selectionWhenever a new programme is selected, the recommended spin speed of the selected programme is displayed on the spin speed indicator. To decrease the spin speed, press the Spin Speed Adjustment button. Spin speed decreases gradually. Then, depending on the model of the product, "Rinse Hold" and "No Spin" options appear on the display. When "No Spin" is selected, the rinse level indicator lights will not turn on.Rinse holdIf you are not going to unload your clothes immediately after the programme completes, you can use rinse hold function to keep your laundry in the final rinsing water in order to prevent them from getting wrinkled when there is no water in the machine. Press Start / Pause button after this process if you want to drain the water without spinning your laundry. Programme will resume and complete after draining the water. If you want to spin the laundry held in water, adjust the Spin Speed and press Start / Pause button. The programme will resume. Water is drained, laundry is spun and the programme is completed.

Go to that link. Do CTRL F for "Rinse hold".

Hold means that if the washing isn't going to be removed straight after the cycle's finished, you can "hold" the washing in water so it doesn't get so crumpled. If you left it after it'd had drained or spun, it'd be massively more creased.

I have the manual, it doesn't say what to press to use it.
Oh how I miss the hold function. My last washing machine had one, but not my newer one. Sorry, this doesn't answer your question!
the Spin Speed Adjustment button. Spin speed decreases gradually. Then, depending on the model of the product, "Rinse Hold" and "No Spin" options appear on the display.

NellieMay, yeah, me too, that's why I went for a cheaper one, the more expensive ones don't have it !

Ahh, I think you must have to select no spin speed … well, that's a new one on me ! Usually there's a separate button (back me up, NellieMay LOL).
Is there not an illustration of all the controls? Perhaps they have not updated the manual, and it doesn't have that function any more. That happened to me once when we had something new. I can't remember what it was. I had to phone the manufacturer. I would advise you to do the same.
Well found everyone, I found the manual too but you all beat me.
Yes, it was a separate button. I think it said 'rinse and hold' it was a Hotpoint and when I replaced it for the newer model I assumed it had that function. I should have checked!

There's nothing on the controls, it's been a process of elimination & reading between the lines in the manual *doh* It's mentioned on all websites (including Beko's) as well as the manual. I was going to ring Beko but posted on their "Ask an Owner" (as I have with Currys too), but good ole Answerbank came thru' once again :)
Ideally I wanted Zanussi (always had them) but they're now all too deep for the space left by an integrated machine :(( Took a lot of hunting down for that function, ridiculous really.

Thanks everyone, got there in the end :)
CW1 Glad you are sorted, rinsed and spun.
