soupmaker,hoover and floor steam cleaner have all gone on the blink this week,I might have to take a trip to curry's or even asda,which shop would you go to?

I would firstly ask on freecycle/freegle, especially for soup maker as this is an item people may have tucked away at the back of a kitchen cupboard unused.

I wouldn't buy such items in either...but certainly would never step inside a Currys ....worst customer interaction/service/aftercare anywhere in the country (not just my opinion, but that of Which? too).

I've bought household stuff from Asda in the past and never had any problems, although I've never bought any of the three things you need slinky.

I've bought the lot over the years but never used them except for the hoover. Hopeless staff in Currys - wouldn't buy a thing out of it. Asda are good especially at returns.

go and look in Amazon deals. I have had some great bargains from there.

I would forget the soupmaker. My wife loves making nutrious healthy soups with fresh veg,meat,herbs and spices in a big cauldron and stick blender.
We have carpet,bit of lino in toilet and kitchen and wood flooring.Happy with a mop and bucket and hoover for carpet.
If I were to search and purchase the three items described it has to be a trawl through e-bay for the best price.
