Monday. I reckon this might be the wettest June on record! We're only a third of the way through it. More rain predicted for today. I hope it's dry Friday, the hospice Summer Walk is on, it would be a shame if it was rained off, it's a big money maker. It's also good fun, the two routes, 10K and 5K both go past Winstone's Ice Cream factory. They give every walker a free ice cream. Lovely people, they are good supporters of the hospice.
No idea what to do today, it depends on the weather.

Morning all, a damp start here - not good.

Clothing part 2 lift took place yesterday and that helps in clearing more space, the rest of that tomorrow morning - still a lot of waste and old clothing boxes/paper to get out after yesterday's rampage. Another good cheque though.

Today, it's the last stage assessment for sometime after the 25th when I get back - the lift out of the remaining china, trinkets, furniture etc to go into a household auction and then the rest for the dump run. Otherwise it's cleaning as above and the final assault ? on the study...that's now at about 90%. There's two huge bags, one full of 35mm transparencies and the other of film tapes - the family ones, my ex and I had transposed on to video tape and gave them as a pressie to the parents and sisters.

The real benefit is the extra mental stimulation that she is getting...there's only a limit to one person can do/give......

also waiting for e-mails from the family as to whether they want certain items - such as house plans (with my great grandfather's signature on), the old man's qualification certs, that sort of thing - and today, I am contacting Ryan Blackburn of Masterchef today as we have posters of his restaurant in Ambleside when my eldest sister opened it.
