How To Dowload Ophcrack Rainbow Tables

I'm (still!) trying to get access for my friend to his deceased sister's laptop, which it turns out is using Windows 10, not 8 as I had thought. I've managed to get an Ophcrack ISO file onto a USB flash drive and I've got it to load onto the computer. What I haven't got is any Rainbow Files to help it crack the code - I assume I need these? If not, I'm not sure what was going on because the programme just seemed to stop once it had found a partition with hashes. (Or maybe it was working in the background and I didn't leave it long enough? It did say 'waiting' in the pop-up, but I left it for an hour and it was still 'waiting'.)
My problem is, though - how do you download the rainbow files when the computer can't access anything to download them from? Do they have to go on the USB, too (as I assume they must) and, if so, how do you get the computer you're trying to crack to see that drive.
I'm not a complete computer idiot, but I'm certainly no expert - basically, I can follow simple instructions, so if you know what I'm talking about and how to help me, please do so! I've tried following a YouTube tutorial, but it seems to assume that you can download the files onto your computer; surely if you could do that, you wouldn't need to crack the password?

You tinkering with the computer could result in you erasing something important (I managed to delete my operating system from my first computer).

Can you not take it into a computer shop and see if they will help. They may be suspicious but you will surely be able to convince them that you are not doing anything bad.

Failing that I have found that youngsters know more about computing than I will ever know. Can you rent or borrow a teenager?

Why not try making a Linux bootable USB stick and then change the password in Win10 from there? See this link for details.
