Forbidden M, what are you talking about.?
spath - // Of course i am. Just because i see the forbidden M next to a black person, in an article about racism, doesn't make me racist... It just makes me think. //

I am sure no-one on here would wish to deny you the right to think for one moment, but I, and others, are genuinely confused about what it is that you think.

I cannot see how you can make link between the 'M word' on this advert, and another controversial campaign which did use the word 'monkey' on the person of a black child model, so a case can be made for an unfortunate link.

But you linking these two adverts together is simply something I cannot understand, and am interested in an explanation, if you wish to offer one.
"I cannot see how you can make link between the 'M word' on this advert"

14.04 explains quite clearly why my brain connected the "M" word with the word monkey.
I'm not linking the adverts together, I'm linking the amount of times monkey and black people have been referred to in the media in the last couple of months.

Due to this, when i saw the "M" next to the back person, with an article about how it was racist, i simple jumped to a conclusion. If anything.. I think what i'm seeing, is more of a focus point, rather than the "N" word.

Thanks for the explanation.

I can't claim to be any closer to understanding what you mean, but thanks anyway.
