As i said on another thread, i have had a little bet on both teams scoring and a draw @ 3/1. However, i have also had a fiver on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang FGS @ 9/2 and a nibble on; BTTS & Arsenal to win with both Luis and Xacha getting carded @ 33/1. Couple all that that with the fact that i spent almost 7 years in the Royal Artillery (demobbed from Woolwich) and there's reason enough for me to pin my old cap badge to my cardy and root for the Arsenal. :-))
Ah well, can't win all the time - my accounts would be closed if i did :-/
However, what you lose on the swings you gain on the roundabouts and i've just had a few quid on a 7/1 winner in a coincidence bet i couldn't resist. It's name? Champs Inblue :-))
I'm happy that your team won it Rowan ;-) or should I say thrashed it in the second half. Sorry Ken I'm not a betting man but don't shy away from Spurs on Saturday even though the odds must be greatly against them.
Don't be too sorry, Arky, i did have the 7/1 winner :-)
Having studied the match at length, I really can't see any other outcome than a Liverpool win and my bets will reflect this. Just waiting to see what, if any, 'specials' the bookies offer tomorrow.
If Spurs go 3-0 up I'll know I have passed away and in some mystical dreamland... I do fully expect L'pool in all honesty to win it, but to me knowing so many L'pool supporters/fans it'll be a nightmare of a summer, 2005 all over again... shoving it in my face.
