Sunday. A restless night, the bed looked like a battlefield, what I was dreaming about I have no idea. I'm more tired now than when I went to bed! No doubt I'll find something on the idiot box to sleep though this afternoon. :o} Just the usual Sunday shoplifting, collect the paper, see my favourite checkout girl and my mate, no doubt between us we will amuse her.

On a different note, I have some marinated pork scotch fillets for tonight's tucker.

What's something different I could do with them?

Cook them in cider, serve with chips, peas and sweetcorn.

Like the savoury rice idea Johnny, might slice them thin, do a stir fry thingy, water chestnuts, Asian veg etc.

How far are you traveling DT? We are in Teignmouth at the moment, lovely morning, bit breezy but that will drop as the tide goes out. Lovely little gaff on the estuary 5 min walk up the river bank to the Coombe Cellars pub.
