Listening to Radio 2 News this morning they announced that they are expecting there to be tea shortages and a large price hike due to poor harvests in several of the tea growing areas. Will you be stocking up?

I don't see that many have complained, most of us will carry on - if we drink tea at all.

I pay a little more than a penny a bag but would happily pay a lot more if it rises.
I drink a pot of Kenyan loose leaf tea every morning. I used to bring big bags of it back from Nairobi but those days are no more and I have to get it from Sainsburys. They are useless at keeping their shelves stocked anyway so there won`t be much change there
Jeez, mamy, I guess I forgot to put a smiley thingy at the end of my 2331 post.
I have less than a cup a day, today I’ve not had any so no won’t be stocking up.
Mebbe you did.

I drink far too much tea.

Well I didnt see any of us complaining about this tea situation, people were mostly saying they wouldnt be stocking up and they would carry on regardless of the price and availability of tea and if there was a problem they would be drinking coffee instead.
I’ll just swap to wine.......;)
I see why it's called ChatterBank.
Geez, what a bunch of nattering nannies.
Enough with the tea, already.
I only drink tea when I'm poorly, weirdly, otherwise don't touch it.

OH has a utilities van and takes tea to work but he doesn't look at the price of anything!
Mr Smow leaves house in morning without drinking a thing, not even a sip of water. Don’t know how he does it.
My OH does it sometimes, usually after he's snoozed his alarm too many times. He drinks tea if I'm up to make it otherwise is squash
I always have a really dry mouth when I wake up, even though. I don’t sleep for more than 2 - 3 hrs a night.
I will happily substitute tea with a pint of foaming nut brown. :-)
I too do my bit to support tea drinkers, by leaving it on the shelf for others to purchase for starters.
There are many better brews available.
I don't like the way this thread is going!

The hospital says I can't drink coffee, wine or beer, so I don't like to be reminded of what I'm missing :(
If Mrs Tony doesn't have cup of earl grey in the morning, not a happy lady. For me I just have builders tea.
I've got a mug of this stuff alongside me at the moment:

It's rather nice as long as you give it plenty of time to brew.
Does builders tea cause an erection?

If so, I may start indulging ;-/
It's essential to drink it from a mug with a big crack in it though, 1ozzy ;-)

A treasure trove of information.
