just got home and seen the gaff I made at 16.34.
I should have said 55years ago not 75years.
I was referring to the first application to join the EU.

Today is actually the 74th anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) Day. And I've not seen it mentioned once. The 29th March should have been VE Day v2. I guess we'll have to wait a little longer for that. Then it's more likely to be VE Day v.1 and a bit.
Our unsung heroes spin in their graves at the state of a country they died for. For shame, for shame...

Voter apathy is very dangerous. Only the like minded will do it, this means that they pretty much give up. Dangerous dangerous game.
