I have Windows 7 and my email provider is Outlook. I would like to remove my name - which appears above the email address - from all outgoing emails. I`ve tried editing it out in "My Account" but it still appears on all sent emails. Any suggestions please?

Thanks ff, but that doesn`t necessarily remove the name. There must be a way to edit it out, but I just can`t find it.

Doh! ;o)
If your name is not on your email how would people know who it is from. I do not think you can send anonomously

I have a number of emails, only one uses my real name, another one of them is six numbers and one letter.
Okay- maybe I should have suggested setting up new account for which you don't have your name.
Spammers seem pretty good at faking sender names so there must be a ways
Your outgoing mail must show a name but, of course,it doesn't have to be your own. Simply leaving the name field blank will result in Outlook.com reverting to whatever was previously in it. So fill in something other than your name.
