Walked into a door (in the dark, don't ask) and bumped my forehead. Quite painful at the time, a small bump,no bruise, but its still tender to touch after a week or more, is this usual.

Tenderness after a week is not uncommon, it should settle - presume you have/had no other symptoms?
I rolled over in bed and smacked my eye socket on the night stand and looked like someone had given me a really good hiding and although it bruised and then went down quite normally it was sore for weeks, so maybe not so unusual x
Don't think it's unusual. I got smacked in the eye socket by the ball when playing cricket, and it took ages to get back to anything like normal - eye had closed up, with a massive black eye. Felt very odd and 'disengaged' for about a week. I found arnica gel very soothing.
Give it time.

Thank you for your answers, I have no other symptoms so I'm sure it will just take time. Always good to get some reassurance.
