It was heartening to see the surge for the Lib Dems, with some historic gains.
Also Alliance in NI.
I’m not sure the results can be analysed all that scientifically. I’d like to think all those LibDem and Green votes would carry forward to May 23. If there is a May 23.

Protest votes don't usually carry forward, and there are more relevant parties to vote for on the 23rd; without needing to protest

They’ve only got less than three weeks to carry forward in this instance.
I’ve no doubt sadly that once people see the word “Brexit” dangled in front of them on the ballot paper it’ll stir a few extra emotions.
Plainly though it’s not just Brexit folk who are cross though.
