On my last but one visit to the Vet with my sweet little Princess Merlin I ended up badly bitten and scratched. The Vet had to patch up my arm.

Alas the next visit to the Vet with her she was too ill to put up a fight. She didn't come home!

....so sorry to hear that. I went through the same "ordeal" last Dec with one of my dogs, so I know how it feels :(
Giz, charity shops often sell the free daily mail language CDs
The Daily Mail do language CDs ?

(There are websites that do free courses as long as you're ok with the occasional advert.)
In Monty Python's "Dirty Hungarian Phrasebook" sketch my favourite translation from John Cleese's phrasebook is "My hovercraft is full of eels".

I once had a Portguese phrasebooks where one of the useful phrases translated into Portuguese was "My brother is looking for a job in Mozambique".
