In my opinion Trmp should have been invited to the 75th commemoration events because he is the President of the USA who lost countless men in the 2nd World War- that is a mark of respect to them and to america itself. He should not have been offered a state visit however, as his own personal disgraceful presidency needs bringing to heel by the international community and you either want principled politicians or you don't- personally I'll take mine principled- even if I don't always agree with them.
