Has anyone got a tried and trusted recipe please? I saw one elsewhere that people said was lovely but it contained condensed milk and I thought it might be a bit sweet.

You can cancel out a bit of the sweetness with a pitch of salt.

Thanks Ummmm. I might try that. I haven't eaten rice pudding for years (used to be my jet lag food after holidays but not anymore) I thought I would try it again.
I do rice pudding in my slow cooker but I just use my usual semi skimmed milk. I do keep an eye on it though and tend to keep stirring it until I know it's done.

If it stuck to the bottom it would be awful. The dish does take some soaking afterwards but the slow cooked pudding is scrummy.

Tilly - have you got a recipe please?

Thanks for that. I`ve bookmarked it.
I am going to try that Tilly. I haven't made rice pudding for years, my mother used to make the best, but I never managed it, and I love it.
Just bung it in but keep an eye on it after three and a half hours. Keep stirring!
