nice warm day here. I tood down a lighter jacket from the heap of all-climate outerwear on the hook on the back of the front door, hung up my heavier winter one, and the whole lot fell on the floor, hook and all. Wardrobe malfunction ndeed. Hopefully I have sorted it by spreading the jackets round the house more.

Morning all
It's a lovely one too now the mist has cleared.
Haha Jno.You'll have to get your screwdriver out. We've got a cupboard in the hall for coats but they always seem to get slung on the bannister rail until I hang them back up in the cupboard.
Hope you're all ok and enjoying this lovely weather.I'm still waiting for my wheelie thing to arrive then I can perhaps go out and enjoy it even more.
Such a bad storm all over Spain. Trees down, flooding and cold. I've got winter clothes out again
Mr N has been called out on an emergency
Luckily (fingers crossed) we still have water, electricity and internet but that could change at any time. So enjoy your sunny Easter.
going to be another hot one here and family with screaming kids have got visitors with a barky dog. Its going to be a long day.
yes, antoehr warm day ere too.

Has anyone else got moths? We seem to be killing several little ones every day and the place is starting to smell of moth spray. Several woollen jumpers have acquired little holes. It's not just us, a man down the road had to throw away his winter coat it had got so badly eaten. But I don't know if it's just our neighbourbood. At least the parakeet invasion stays outdoors.
We get food moths in the summer. Supermarket shelves are empty, as no boats can get here! Weve got a 2 kg.leg if lamb 16€
Also for the first time in living memory they had to cancel the treatment of the crucifixion !
Stupid phone. Reenactment not treatment!
I thought maybe they were going to treat the wood for borer...
my sis in kent has had then in her carpets so badly that she had to strip all the carpets out and she hasd put in wood floors and polyprop rugs. fortunately the house insurance covered it.
hmm, strip out all the woollyjumpers and replace them with polypropylene ones, that might be the answer.

Morning all.Happy Easter.Looks like another lovely day out there.
Moths fly out of my purse sometimes :)
Have you tried hanging lavender bags in the wardrobe Jno.
I've got some of those cedarwood blocks as well. They don't stink either like the old moth balls. You can get both on Amazon.
Good morning and Happy Easter. Still storming.
Hope you all have a lovely day.
we've got armed guards in the wardrobes, shaney, but it's kitchen and living room where we keep spotting them. I can't see any holes in the carpets and throws and so on, but they just flutter by out of the corners of the eye. The thing is, this is all recent - moths have never beenba problem over the decades until this year.
In another couple.of months I'll have to check all dry goods, absolutely everything for cobwebs and maggots as they come in flour, cornflakes anything! Then they hatch and get in all food even tea bags. Shops even sell sticky papers to put in larders. They get covered with moths. All my UK porridge and instant custard are in a sealed box in fridge as they Wont get contaminated there. Have to check all shelves and cracks for the maggotts. Its horrible.
Just had toast and lamb dripping ,a throwback to childhood. it was ace!
its been warm and waspy here today. I went into the spare room and there were 3 buzzing around in there and loads in the garden. forecast is for it to cool down now which will be nice.
gave the car its annual Karcher today then looked around and realised the hose was scouring great white scars across our filthy front path, so I had to spend an hour Karchering that too. Where did all the filth go? On the car. I might have to take it up to those lads who wash cars in Tesco's car park; it's be quicker, for a start.
Morning
Still raining and foggy. A few flights are getting in. Supermarkets closed as no fresh food and shelves are empty. We went for a drive but nowhere open for a coffee so came home again where Mr N is now preparing the dinner. Chilly and damp and quite depressing but I'm ok as I quite like it.
Hope you are all enjoying the new roof, moths and wasps!

Hello all
Another lovely sunny day.
Ooh Neti ..I couldn't be doing with all those creepy crawlies not near food anyway and I can't stand moths at all.We sometimes get big moths indoors in the summer time at night.I know they're harmless but can't be doing with them flapping around so I usher them out .I'm a dab hand with a glass and a sheet of paper.
All quiet here today .Cold lamb for dinner.Hope you're all ok.
