Our lawn has been invaded by a yellow type of moss. The birds have pecked bare patches in the lawn. Although we have put wee, feed and moss kill on the lawn it has not had a great effect. Parts seem to have about an inch thick of moss which you can just peel off the lawn. Never had anything like this before. What ever moss we have had was green and always went black after treatment. This just went a dirty brown. Any helpful advice would be much appreciated. Am presuming it was something to do with the winter and all the rain. Many thanks in advance.

My woman's lawn has a similar issue. Put the moss killer down 2 days ago.
Just rake out the moss and scatter a mix of grass seed and soil or compost on the bare patches. Love the "wee" typo!
It may be the wee that turned it yellow :-)
