My friends Samsung tablet has lost the play store app it has disappeared. Anybody know how she can get it back?

Might have just disabled it, try going into Settings-Apps and re enable it

Bertrum we have tried that in settings but playstore is not there.
Is it just missing on the desktop ? In which case check the total apps ( swipe up).

Otherwise search on the Net for a download ?

Bertrum it says here on your link your tablet does not allow to download from this source. AOG Does not appear in apps. Still cannot find it.
You could try an internet search for the Play Store apk file to see if you can locate a site that your tablet will allow you to download
If your tablet will not allow you to download the Play Store the only option you may have is to re set the tablet to factory defaults but you would lose all data and have to re download the apps

Thank you bertrum that’s we have decided to do. Hopefully it will appear back after a reset. She is going to take off all photos then do it.. But strange thing is she tried to sign into her google account and was declined we tried looking into other things and found another google account with a foreign name but using her email address. Could she have been hacked in some way? Hope reset works for her. I use apple device so could not help much.

What a nightmare she has tried to reset tablet it asks for password to prove it is her but will not accept it.. What to do now mmmmm
A hard reset is what is required follow instructions from here it is for a tab 10 but they are all the same

Thank you again Bertrum it is the correct password she has it written in a book since she set it up. Something strange going on have sent her your link to try thanks
You can set your device to download from unofficial sources and take the risk; in the settings somewhere.
Could try taking it back to the retailer. Or elsewhere where they have tech support for it.
