Redox (short for reduction–oxidation reaction) is a chemical reaction in which the oxidation states of atoms are changed.
Oxidation is the loss of electrons or an increase in oxidation state by a molecule, atom, or ion.
Reduction is the gain of electrons or a decrease in oxidation state by a molecule, atom, or ion.

No just put a bit of thought into it.

If you are finding these difficult and don't know how to research these yourself then have a word with your tutor and maybe ask whether this is the course for you
We were taught the mnemonic OILRIG.
Oxidation Is Loss (of electrons)
Reduction Is Gain.
