maggiebee, where both of the couple agree, there is no fault fast divorce in England now. The change in the law now allows fast no fault divorce when one party will not consent

Thanks woofy, didn't realise that. At one time in Scotland, if one party did not consent then it was 5 years before anything could happen.. Not sure about the position now.
