Hoping someone can answer this as it may save a load of time trying to discover the problem.

I can call my mobile from a fixed line and it is ok. The garage called me earlier today, got through no problem.

I call my mobile from my woman's mobile, in a short time on her mobile screen it says some rot about conditional forwarding being active. Then the call drops.

Any idea what the heck it's playing at ?

Cheers.

'Conditional call forwarding' means that a call will be diverted to voicemail if it can't be taken immediately. (e.g. if the person is on another call).

(I note that the one which suggests 'turn it off and turn it on again' has been awarded 'Best answer'. It's amazing how often that works!)

Have already restarted both mobiles. No joy.
Thanks I'll take a look at the link.

Well the off for 5 minutes and then wait for 5 minutes before trying again, did nothing.

Checked my phone, all forwarding options are showing as disabled.

Just tried my spare mobile, it gets through ok. Seems to suggest that the issue is with the dialling mobile :-(
