Do scientists believe in God? If so is this based on any facts or theory?

Like most professions, some do some don't. Spiritual belief tends to be based on conjecture and faith so tends to be limited when it comes to proof, which tends to be more physical universe related. But there are places that investigate psychic phenomena if you count that.

Yes, lots of scientists believe in God. No, no facts are involved at all. If you class "intuition", pure belief/wish, etc. as theory then, yes, their belief is based on theory - prediction of "proof" at some stage is not included (unless you believe "meeting your maker" on death is a certainty).
