That I should not lose anymore weight by a close girlfriend.
Apparently I am beginning to look old and haggard!
Another friend has mentioned that it is because first friend is concerned that she will be bigger that me!
Why can't people just be happy that I have achieved this.

I actually feel uncomfortable getting compliments Ummmm

I've had people comment about me, it's simply not nice. He commented on my arms in front of the people I was with. Made me paranoid.

you feel uncomfortable getting criticism too. But if you put personal information on a chatsitee, you will get people commenting one way or the other.

I choose what to put on this site - if people choose to comment in a personal manner that is more their issue than mine.

People become unsettled with change, weight is an obsession with some, when they see those around them losing weight there is a mixture of concern/jealousy when gaining weight there is concern/smugness, in both cases there is always gossip. overall if you have spent a lot of your life a certain size, everyone becomes used to it. I cant argue though losing a lot of weight can cause skin to sag more which can be ageing but its a small price to pay for feeling happier and healthier. You have probably become more confident which is another element of the new you they have to get used to. They will get used to it
